Main Verses

28 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with [all his] might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that [were] therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than [they] which he slew in his life.

Judges 16:28,30

28 삼손이 주를 부르며 이르되, 오 주 하나님이여, 원하건대 나를 기억하옵소서. 오 하나님이여, 원하건대 이번 한 번만 나를 강하게 하사 블레셋 사람들이 내 두 눈을 뺀 것을 내가 단번에 원수 갚게 하옵소서, 하고는

30 이르되, 나를 블레셋 사람들과 함께 죽게 하소서, 하며 힘을 다하여 몸을 굽히매 그 집이 무너져 그 안에 있는 귀족들과 온 백성을 덮치니 이로써 그가 죽을 때에 죽인 자들이 살았을 때에 죽인 자들보다 더 많았더라..
