25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 
25 이기려고 애쓰는 자마다 모든 일에서 절제하나니 이제 그들은 썩을 관을 얻고자 그 일을 하되 우리는 썩지 아니할 관을 얻고자 하느니라. 26 그러므로 내가 이와 같이 달리되 정해진 것이 없는 것처럼 하지 아니하고 또 이와 같이 싸우되 허공을 치는 자같이 하지 아니하노라.

   • Marriage/Divorce/Remarriage 결혼/이혼/재혼
     • To the unmarried and widows, Do not get married. But to avoid fornication, get married. 
       미혼자, 과부에게 — 결혼하지 말라. 그러나 음행을 피하기 위해서 결혼하라.
     • To the married with an unbeliever, do not leave him/her.
       불신자와 결혼한 사람에게 — 그/그녀를 버리지 말라.
   • Called by God 하나님께 부름받은 사람
     • Let him remain in the same occupation, rank of life.
       같은 직업, 삶의 위치에 그대로 머물라.
2. Chapter 8, 13 verses, Problem #8 Abusing liberty in Christ
   8장, 13 구절, 문제점 8. 그리스도 안에서 자유를 남용하는 것
   • Abstain from the food offered to idols, and from your idols
     우상들에게 바친 음식물을 피하고, 당신의 우상을 피하라.
   • Do not abuse our Christian liberty
     그리스도인의 자유를 남용하지 말라.
   • Sin against the brethren? You sin against God!
     형제에게 죄를 지었습니까?  당신 하나님께 죄를 지은 것입니다!
3. Chapter 9, 27 verses, Problem #9 The church examines Paul
   9장, 27 구절,  문제 9. 교회가 바울을 심문하다.
   1. Paul vindicates his apostleship, and his liberty.
      바울은 자신의 사도의 신분과 자유를 주장했습니다.
   2.  Paul would not use this power, but suffer all things, lest he should hinder the gospel of Christ.
      바울은 이 권리를 쓰지 않고 모든 고난을 참으려고 했습니다, 그것은 그리스도의 복음을 방해할까 염려하였기 때문입니다.
   3. Paul wants to be the means of saving souls. And he becomes a servant unto all, to gain the more [to Christ] 
      바울은 영혼을 살리는 수단이 되기를 원했습니다. 그래서 더 많은 사람을 얻고자 모든 사람의 종이 되었습니다. 
   4. Run, fight to obtain the prize, Paul commands!
      달려라, 상을 받도록 싸우라, 바울은 명령합니다!

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things [abstain from all that would stimulate]. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
이기려고 애쓰는 자마다 모든 일에서 절제하나니 이제 그들은 썩을 관을 얻고자 그 일을 하되 우리는 썩지 아니할 관을 얻고자 하느니라.
