Sermon: Light and Eyes (Luke 11:33-36)

33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth [it] in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thine eye] is evil, thy body also [is] full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36 If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Luke 11:33-36

33 누구든지 등잔불을 켜서 그것을 은밀한 곳이나 통 아래 두지 아니하고 등잔대 위에 두나니 이것은 들어가는 자들이 그 빛을 보게 하려 함이라.
34 몸의 등불은 눈이니 그러므로 네 눈이 단일하면 네 온몸도 빛으로 가득하나 네 눈이 악하면 네 몸도 어둠으로 가득하니라.
35 그러므로 네 안에 있는 빛이 어둠이 되지 않도록 주의하라.
36 그러므로 네 온몸이 빛으로 가득하고 어두운 데가 없으면 등잔불이 밝게 빛나 네게 빛을 주는 때와 같이 전체가 빛으로 가득하리라, 하시니라.
