7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 33 o likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.

1. The emergence of new pestilences including COVID-19 and monkeypox, can be one of the signs of end times.
   However, we are not in the Tribulation period which will be a living hell with a degree of violence that is unparalleled in all of history.
2. The “Great Tribulation” refers to the second half of the Tribulation when the Antichrist is revealed until Christ returns. It is also a picture of how God disciplines and at the same time protects His people Israel.
3. God has always been in the business of saving people, and that salvation will still be available during the Tribulation. With that being said, many of Tribulation Saints will die for their faith.
4. Christ is promising to keep believers from the very time period that contains the Tribulation.
