Sermon: Two types of believers (Luke 7:36-50)
설교: 두 부류의 신자들 (누가복음 7:36-50)
MAIN VERSES
36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat.
37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38 And stood at his feet behind [him] weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment.
39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw [it], he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that [he], to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head.
45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.
48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
36 ¶ 바리새인들 중의 하나가 그분께서 자기와 함께 잡수실 것을 그분께 구하매 그분께서 그 바리새인의 집에 들어가 음식 앞에 앉으시니라.
37 보라, 그 도시에 죄인인 한 여자가 있었는데 그녀가 예수님께서 바리새인의 집에서 음식 앞에 앉으신 것을 알고는 향유를 담은 옥합을 가지고 와서
38 그분 뒤에서 눈물을 흘리며 그분의 발 곁에 서서 눈물로 그분의 발을 씻기 시작하여 자기 머리털로 발을 닦고 그분의 발에 입을 맞추며 향유를 발에 부으매
39 이제 그분을 초대한 바리새인이 그것을 보고 속으로 말하여 이르되, 이 사람이 만일 대언자라면 자기에게 손을 대는 이 여자가 누구며 또 어떤 여자인 줄 알았으리라. 그 여자는 죄인이니라, 하니라.
40 예수님께서 응답하여 그에게 이르시되, 시몬아, 내가 네게 말할 것이 있다, 하시니 그가 이르되, 선생님이여, 말씀하소서, 하매
41 그분께서 이르시되, 빚을 준 어떤 사람에게 빚진 사람 둘이 있어 하나는 오백 데나리온을 빚지고 다른 하나는 오십 데나리온을 빚졌는데
42 그들이 전혀 갚을 것이 없으므로 빚을 준 사람이 두 사람 다 너그러이 용서해 주었나니 그런즉 내게 말해 보아라. 그들 중에 누가 그를 더 사랑하겠느냐? 하시거늘
43 시몬이 대답하여 이르되, 내 생각에는 그가 많이 용서해 준 사람이니이다, 하니 그분께서 그에게 이르시되, 네가 옳게 판단하였도다, 하시고
44 그 여자에게로 돌이키시며 시몬에게 이르시되, 네가 이 여자를 보느냐? 내가 네 집에 들어올 때에 너는 내게 발 씻을 물도 주지 아니하였으되 이 여자는 눈물로 내 발을 씻고 자기 머리털로 발을 닦았으며
45 너는 내게 입 맞추지 아니하였으되 이 여자는 내가 들어올 때부터 내 발에 입 맞추는 것을 그치지 아니하였고
46 너는 내 머리에 기름을 붓지 아니하였으되 이 여자는 향유를 내 발에 부었느니라.
47 이러므로 내가 네게 이르노니, 그녀의 많은 죄들이 용서되었느니라. 이는 그녀가 많이 사랑하였기 때문이니라. 그러나 적은 것을 용서받은 자 곧 그는 적게 사랑하느니라, 하시고
48 그녀에게 이르시되, 네 죄들이 용서되었느니라, 하시니
49 그분과 함께 음식 앞에 앉은 자들이 속으로 말하기 시작하여 이르되, 이 사람이 누구이기에 죄들도 용서하는가? 하더라.
50 그분께서 그 여자에게 이르시되, 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라, 하시니라.
