1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.

3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

4 And they held their peace. And he took [him], and healed him, and let him go;

5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

6 And they could not answer him again to these things.

Luke 14:1-6

1 그분께서 안식일에 빵을 잡수시러 우두머리 바리새인들 중 한 사람의 집에 들어가시니 그들이 그분을 지켜보더라.

2 보라, 그분 앞에 수종이 있는 어떤 남자가 있으므로

3 예수님께서 응답하며 율법사들과 바리새인들에게 말씀하여 이르시되, 안식일에 병을 고치는 것이 율법에 맞느냐? 하셨으나

4 그들이 침묵하매 그분께서 그를 데려다가 고친 뒤 가게 하시고

5 또 그들에게 응답하여 이르시되, 너희 중에 누가 나귀나 소가 있는데 그것이 구덩이에 빠지면 안식일에 그것을 즉시 끌어내지 아니하겠느냐? 하시니

6 그들이 이것들에 대하여 다시 그분께 대답할 수 없었더라.
