33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise [the disciples] of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

33 ¶ 그들이 그분께 이르되, 요한의 제자들은 자주 금식하며 기도하고 바리새인들의 제자들 또한 그리하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 먹고 마시나이까? 하매

34 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 신랑이 혼인 방 아이들과 함께 있을 때에 너희가 그들을 금식하게 할 수 있겠느냐?

35 그러나 날들이 이르러 그들이 신랑을 빼앗기리니 그 날들에는 그들이 금식할 것이니라, 하시니라.
