Sermon: Five questions about the parable of the good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37)

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him],
34 And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
30 예수님께서 대답하여 이르시되, 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가 강도들을 만나매 그들이 그의 옷을 벗기고 그에게 상처를 입혀 그를 반쯤 죽이고 떠나갔느니라.

31 마침 어떤 제사장이 그 길로 내려오다가 그를 보고는 다른 쪽으로 지나가고
32 또 이와 같이 한 레위 사람도 그가 그곳에 있을 때에 와서 그를 바라보고는 다른 쪽으로 지나가되
33 어떤 사마리아 사람은 여행을 하다가 그가 있던 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
34 그에게 가서 기름과 포도즙을 붓고 그의 상처를 싸매며 그를 자기 짐승에 태워 여관으로 데려가 돌보아 주고
35 이튿날 떠날 때에 이 데나리온을 꺼내 주인에게 주며 그에게 이르되, 그를 돌보아 주라. 당신이 얼마를 더 쓰든지 내가 다시 올 때에 갚으리라, 하였느니라.
36 이제 너는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이라고 생각하느냐? 하시니
37 그가 이르되, 그에게 긍휼을 베푼 자니이다, 하매 이에 예수님께서 그에게 이르시되, 가서 너도 그와 같이 하라, 하시니라.
