34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

34 ¶ 너희는 스스로 주의하라. 그러지 않으면 언제라도 너희 마음이 과식과 술 취함과 이 세상 삶의 염려로 무겁게 되어 그 날이 알지 못하게 너희에게 오리니

35 이는 그날이 온 지면에 거하는 모든 자들에게 올무같이 올 것이기 때문이라.

36 그러므로 너희가 앞으로 일어날 이 모든 일을 피하여 사람의 아들 앞에 서기에 합당한 자로 여겨지도록 너희는 깨어서 항상 기도하라, 하시니라.
