16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth [it] under a bed; but setteth [it] on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither [any thing] hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

16 ¶ 누구든지 등잔불을 켠 뒤에 그릇으로 그것을 덮거나 침상 밑에 그것을 두지 아니하고 등잔대 위에 두나니 이것은 들어가는 자들이 그 빛을 보게 하려 함이라.
17 은밀한 것 중에서 드러나지 아니할 것이 없고 감추어 둔 것 중에서 알려지지 아니하고 널리 퍼지지 아니할 것이 없느니라.
18 그러므로 너희가 어떻게 듣는지 주의하라. 있는 자는 누구든지 받을 것이요, 없는 자는 누구든지 자기에게 있는 줄로 여기는 것도 빼앗기리라, 하시니라.
